Configured with the 22 Magnum cylinder the Single-Six is a much more formidable revolver for small game hunting. With its increased felt recoil (compared to a 22 LR) it introduces the new shooter a bit more of a 'kick' to experience.
The Ruger Single-Six is a convertible revolver that's shipped with BOTH .22 LR and .22 Magnum cylinders. Unless otherwise requested, the .22 LR cylinder will be installed.
